Like every year, shopping malls, restaurants and public places in the UAE are dressed in festive colors for the holiday season. Christmas trees, giant red Santa Claus mailboxes, and winter markets can be found in public spaces across the country.

Residents of the UAE can ring the bell at the happiest time of the year with light shows, shopping sprees, and Christmas-themed treats. Here is a list of the ten best Christmas attractions in the United Arab Emirates.

1. Global festive traditions at Dubai Expo 2020

From December 20 to 27, the Expo 2020 Dubai site will be a festive wonderland filled with Christmas trees, Santa boxes and other decors that honor tradition with a modern twist. Don’t forget to check out the 3D printed snowflakes at the Czech Republic Pavilion and Lucia’s 400-year-old tradition at the Sweden Pavilion on December 27.

2. Have you seen Santa Claus parachute in Global Village?

Last weekend, Santa Claus parachuted into Global Village to light up the tree and start the festive fireworks display. Global Village’s now famous teddy bears have donned their Santa hats all around the park to add to the festive atmosphere.

3. The Festive Brictacular at Legoland

Fancy a Christmas tree made entirely of Lego bricks? Legoland Dubai has it covered. The kid-friendly destination kicked off its daily Christmas countdown on December 5 and will run through December 25 in Miniland.
